Viusasa is a Kenyan video-on-demand platform that provides users with access to a variety of content, including videos, news, music, and TV shows. It offers its content in English, Swahili, and Vernacular, and allows users to watch on any device, anywhere, at any time. In addition to a wide range of content, you will also get access to up-to-date news, society gossip, dramas, comedies, soaps, gospel, lifestyle, and kids’ shows.
The service which was launched in 2018 costs only Ksh 10 to watch videos daily. Viusasa is available as an app on Google Play Store and Apple’s App store.
How to Register for Viusasa
Visit Viusasa’s website and click on “Register”. You are required to provide your mobile number (which will be your account number) and password during this process. You will receive an SMS with a one-time pin (OTP) on the mobile number you provided during registration. Enter the OTP to validate your account and complete the registration process.
How To Pay For Your Viusasa Subscription Via Mpesa
- Go to your Mpesa Menu
- Select Lipa Na Mpesa
- Select PayBill
- Enter 724177 as the business number
- Enter your phone number as the account number
- Enter the amount you want to pay
- Enter your M-Pesa pin and press OK to complete the transaction
- You will receive a transaction confirmation message from M-Pesa confirming your transaction.
Viusasa Subscriptions
If you want to access their content, you must first register and subscribe to one of their packages. You can either subscribe for daily, weekly, or monthly packages to be able to view their content. You can make payments using M-Pesa or bank credit or debit cards (Visa or MasterCard).
